Welcome to the
Our eighth year of participation in this interdistrict reading competition begins anew this September. Again, our competitive reading team now includes three divisions: the Chapter 1 Team for grades 3-5, Chapter 2 Team for grades 6-8 and Chapter 3 Team for grades 9-12. If your student LOVES to read and can remember details well, this is for THEM!
The lists and meeting schedules for next year (2012-2013) are already posted on this site (or can be gotten from the Lockport Public Library or any Lockport school librarian). To participate, start reading from the list for your grade level NOW, then come to our first meeting on September 18. Meetings are generally held every other Tuesday after our first meeting from 5 P.M. to 6 P.M., with some exceptions. (NOTE: Our meeting location has been changed to Emmet Belknap, Room 216). 
Middle and high school students are NOT required to attend all meetings, but will need to come to the first one to find out how to stay connected until their competitions. Click on the links to the left for more details or contact Mrs. Burke or Mrs. Cleveland via e-mail.
